About Global Ethics Day

This year, Global Ethics Day will be held on October 16, 2024, under the theme Ethics Empowered. Join us in harnessing the power of ethics to shape a brighter future!

Founded by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, Global Ethics Day is a yearly opportunity to champion ethics in action across individuals and organizations alike.

Since 2014, people from over 100 countries—ranging from citizens to businesses, professional groups, schools, governments, and nonprofits—have come together to participate in this global initiative for ethical change.

Event Host: Jesan Sorrells

CEO and Founder, Leadership Toolbox

Jesan Sorrells is the CEO and Founder of Leadership Toolbox, a leadership training platform focused on solving organizational challenges through leadership development. With over 20 years of experience, Jesan holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation and is a Certified DiSC Trainer. He has worked with diverse public and private sector clients, from healthcare to high-tech, helping them innovate and develop effective leadership strategies. Jesan is also the host of the Leadership Lessons from the Great Books podcast and the author of several books on leadership and conflict resolution.

Workshops Host: Harvey Seifter

Harvey Seifter is a globally recognized expert in leadership, organizational creativity, and arts-based experiential learning. He is the founder of The Art of Science Learning and Creating Futures That Work, a leader in innovative experiential learning programs. Harvey has over 20 years of experience leading distinguished arts organizations, including the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, where he garnered multiple Grammy Awards.

His work bridges the gap between the arts and leadership, fostering creative thinking, collaboration, and innovation. Harvey has also served on the faculty at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and the City University of New York, and has spoken at numerous international conferences.
